We are celebrating two years in business this weekend, time flies when you're having fun they say! We're one of the luckiest pubs to have some of the best customers coming through the doors! The place is full of characters and every day [and especially at night] we are learning something new.
We have been honoured over the last two years to have featured in so many celebrations and memorable times. Thanks for your patience whilst some of us learned how to pull a pint of Guinness without the bubbles, and most of all for inviting us to be part of your stories and for creating lots of new memories. It was always the aim to have a friendly place where people could come, sit and chat We hope you can join us this weekend (25th July) to celebrate with us. Delighted Castlecoote Lodge is listed in the Top things to do in Co. Roscommon! Make sure and visit us over the Bank Holiday weekend! Hopefully this time next year we are in the Top 10!

Hi all
Thanks to all our customers for a great 2014, it was great to have so many new and returning customers through the doors during the year. We celebrated our first Easter in the pub, great fun with the local kids doing a treasure hunt in the garden, we then through everything into the Bonfire for a mighty big bonfire in June. The highlight of the year was being part of the International Sheepdog trials which took place in Kilbegnet in September 2014. We hosted 7 guests in the pub for the weekend and the fun we had all weekend was memorable. We continued our monthly trad sessions (3rd Friday in every month) which we just couldn't do without the local musicians and supporters. We rounded off the year with Christmas & the return of the locals from far and wide. Thanks to everybody who visited us and continue to visit us on a regular basis We look forward to seeing you all in 2015 Mary & Terry |
